As part of its annual guide of literature to gift to loved ones and friends during the holiday season, Publishers Weekly highlights Extra Hidden Life, Among the Days , the latest book of poetry by Saint Mary’s Olivia Filippi Professor of Poetry Brenda Hillman. PW, which offered high praise for the book in it review last December, said the work would make an excellent present as it “includes gorgeous long-form elegies, poems of witness and social activism, and odes to the national forest and seashore.”
