CNBC's financial wellness partner Grow recently interviewed Saint Mary’s Marketing Professor Michal Strahilevitz about the benefits that consumers gain by learning how to do recurring monthly tasks. Among other observations, the associate professor, whose academic research includes a focus on consumer behavior, spoke about the benefits of learning new skills and how they can lead to savings of hundreds of dollars per month, and provide additional advantages beyond saving extra cash.
