Scholarly Interests: 
My primary research interests focus on the organizational, dyadic and individual dynamics that can impact the process of communication flow up, down and across the hierarchies.  One research stream examines voice and silence as a multi-actor, multi-level and multi-phase process.  The second line of work delves into the effect of power on one's interpretation and evaluation of events and information. In addition, I am interested in exploring the technological and pedagogical aspects of developing effective classroom strategies.
