Description

Just in time for the holiday travel season, the Washington Post recently spoke with Saint Mary’s Marketing Professor Michal Strahilevitz about the common mistakes consumers make in their travel planning. The SEBA associate professor, whose academic research includes a focus on consumer behavior, notes that in the quest for the lowest price for airfares, for example, consumers lose sight of fine print restrictions, which can end up causing major time inconveniences. Syndicated nationally, the Nov. 20 WashPo article "How to avoid making travel deal mistakes," presented Strahilevitz's observations in news outlets, and to consumers, across the country.
